amazing game. finished it in under 2 hours+an extra 14 minutes just goofing around. pics are achievements cleared and my last run+last boss run(as seen by damian's axe and it's 999 damage)
the only huge problem i encountered, is that after the second boss fight the dialogue with Warf appeared(exit door one) and after "You..." it just went black screen with no response.
Idk if that's an issue on my end because i was playing via [Port]Proton(Proton 10-28 or sth), supposed to be like that, or is actually a bug. // collected only Logs 17 and 18, that's probably not all of them, but in all of my runs, i haven't found others, in every run i searched the levels thoroughly(if i didn't die before they ended) // and sad that you can't have the Damian's Axe, ik that double damage upgraded axe is almost the same with normal lunkys, but still xd
remembered one thing that annoyed the hell out of me... flashlight. it's almost useless because of how little light it actually provides:/
i wish the console was left in, maybe there'd be a way to change it myself somehow.. i mean i just want to run around now, and not have to squint everywhere to see where i'm going
Great game I 100%-ed it. took only 2 hours to get every achievement
Have the arg aspects been removed? Me and my friend were playing it, have beaten the game but can't seem to find the hidden walls or the console for the codes. We have also only found 4 logs, and I don't know how many are in the game.
I found a "bug" with the reflection next to the Warfstache shop: You can see you are just arms. A way to fix it could be by hiding the arms to the game and only showing to the player, if it's even possible. Not that it ruins the gameplay.
once i download the game how do i play it?
if you still wonder, unpack the zip, and inside the folder you'll find an exe file(Revenge one), just launch it and play

This game is really good! I can see why it took over a year to make.
My only complain is the Post Processing of Unreal Engine. I hate how for Unreal games, it is always "everything or nothing".
For example, I would like to disable the film grain, because it makes recording videos at 1080p a nightmare, but I would like to keep Motion Blur or Depth of Field.
TAA is also just awful, I wish there was a simple way to disable it, because it makes the image so smeary and blurry in general. Maybe not at 1440p or 4k, but at 1080p it looks dreadful. This is not something directed towards Lixian, more-so Unreal Engine 4 and 5 in general.
Overall I enjoyed it a lot. The range of the axe felt a bit too low in my opinion, though.
Sound wise it's good, Music wise it's good, story wise it is silly and I like it. The gameplay loop works, especially since it's randomized runs with modifiers, and the Reset button adds replay-ability.
Definitely give it a go if you haven't yet!

As always, Lixian delivered with this really fun game that came with a lot of story and replay ability!
I’m having big graphical issues trying to play it, and I was kinda expecting it knowing that it was made with Unreal. Knowing Unreal, it’s usually optimized specifically for the newest hardware, and on my GTX 1660S the display is super grainy and doesn’t render half the assets and lighting, for example the player’s hands and the Markiplier HQ building, which I only know are there and should be rendered because of watching Mark play this. I think it has something to do with forced TAA, I do recognize how it’s rendered with Unreal from other games, so at least having an option to enable/disable these kinds of settings as well would be great.
I can't tell you about the non loading, but the game itself is just grainy by default, you can see it in the promo images
This was super fun, definitely an upgrade from previous games.
is there a way to change to controls to our preferences ? i play with a AZERTY keyboard and it's a bit complicated not being able to walk with zqs
AZERTY user here, you just need to learn how to change the language of your keyboard from whatever you have to any other language that uses QWERTY (like United States)
There's plenty of tutorials of that online

can someone help im trying to unzip the file but all it says is 'retry' 'copy download file' and 'remove from this list' ive tried to retry it pops up a weird thing and downloading as i know so far is useless so i need help
YES LIXIAN (r) I HAD A *DAMN BLAST* playing your game. I watch markplier since my 14's and still going for over 10 years. Your project is just so well crafted. Down to the inside jokes, to the inner lore, specially the ultimate care to create something visually TM LMAO. you know what im talking about!! The only thing I will say: there was not enough jokes talking about the *very good* flash light.
I loved this game! It was really polished and the progression was well balanced. I had a blast unlocking all the achievements. Well done, Lixian!

Lixian, you knocked it out of the park with this one! I played for over 4 hours with my chat and we had an absolute blast finding secrets and putting together the lore of M-Labs. Thank you for making an amazing game, and extra thank you for making it free so that many of us can experience it ourselves!!!
Uhh I'm having a problem. I can't get the revolver. And I don't mean I can't afford it with the warfcoins. I mean the game doesn't detect when I place my mouse over it and try to click on it. Besides that, great game! Please help me!

I’m running a Nvidia rtx 360ti with 32 gigs Ram and the game runs like a beaut. What specs do you have on your computer?
if you still wonder, it runs fine on my crusty RX 580 w/ ryzen 5 3500x+16gb ram, almost always at 60fps on low~
about min specs, just check an average easy UE5 game on steam, it can tell you lots.

Lixian, oh Lixian! I just downloaded the game (after watching it in Mark's channel) and I love it! I played it for a little and I plan on getting hooked on it later! But what I want to say especially is that I'm so grateful that my pc can run the game! It's so light/optimized that my low-end pc can play it, which I wasn't actually expecting at all! I just had to lower the graphics (thank you for including those options too), and it still looks awesome and everything works and looks as intended! And that makes me love it even more!
The only critique I have is that, like others have said, the game gets too dark at times.

I liked the game—if it weren’t for the cartoon-style characters, it would be quite a horror game.
Played intro, walked over bookcase, couldn't double back. Stuck in a room with a barricaded door & dead scientist, unclear how to proceed.
if this is a joke then lol, if you actually need help, break the boards with the axe in the bookcase
Best game yet Lixian! I had an idea for a random event in the room with the split-lunkys in the tanks. What if one or two burst out after reading the note?
This game was an incredible experience! Can't wait for future updates or a part 2!

I played the game and it was amazing! It has a good amount of horror that keeps me engaged and wanting to continue.
One thing I noticed is that the brightness feels a bit low. I can't see very far even with the flashlight. I understand the idea of darkness enhancing the horror, but having a brightness slider in the settings would really help players who prefer a bit more visibility.
Another issue I ran into was with the loot rooms. As I progressed through multiple runs, some loot rooms didn't spawn any items. I was low on health and hoping to find a med kit, but when I open the loot room, there was nothing inside, not even bullets. Is this intended? If no supplies spawns, it makes the room feel a bit pointless. Interestingly in the final section where you search for the code, the crate outside the loot rooms still provided supplies. I'm not sure if this is a bug or possibly an issue with my game files.
Overall, I really enjoyed the game and knowing how much effort Lixian has put into this while balancing life makes it even more impressive. Well done!
Edit: I just posted this review and then continued playing and suddenly my later runs had way more supplies including proper loot in the loot rooms. I'm guessing the loot perk might have affect this too. Now I'm thinking it might actually be intended for loot rooms to occasionally spawn little to no supplies early on?
